Who Are You

The white picket fence shouted to me.
"Have you found it yet? Are you living the life you envisioned for yourself?"
I smile to the challenge. "To which version are you referring?"
"Ah ha! Here's to the reinvention of you!"
(pats heart and points to you)

really lovely photo...
very great.. :)
Which version indeed! Love the reflection in the this photo. Have a great day!
And it just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?!!!!!!
Funny how that version changes as life goes on.
I cannot tell you how big my smile is at this moment. My daughter and I were just talking about this in the truck yesterday. How she has learned so much about how to respond with her husband in the four years they have been married. I giggled and told her, Just when you think you've got it down, he will change and you will change. Funny when our perspectives change~ our dreams and direction can change.
You know you've gone and made me do it....again. You're the best. Peace
Upward and onward and never look back!
I was thinking the same thing this morning-about changes and reinvention. How did you know?
I love this, Lyne -- the versions do change, but the reflection is beautiful!
Great thought, and great pic.
This always gives the idea of another world but virtual; , in dream , where the rules are reversed . Well seen
, Lyne.
Love
Michel
@bumblefish - Thank you. Fresh from a rain, it stopped me in my tracks.
@china_doll26 - Thank you
@murisopsis - This morning's or maybe the wiser one this evening? hehehe. Thank you. The reflection did indeed catch my eye. The thoughts from there were new.
@heart_beep - YES!
@Pepin909 - I like that you said "funny" how life does that, as I have found more things to be amused at rather than upset. I find myself thinking how the simple things need to stay simple, and "don't sweat the small stuff" applies more and more.
@WildWomanOfTheWest -
Good words from a wise one who's been around the changing block. There is a call for the art of reinvention, flexibility, community more and more in the world around us. Our children should know they have skills to adapt and learn no matter what age. Change will not repels us, but challenge our good senses. What better than us as their example. I know what a shining one you are, my friend. You walked away from what you knew and right into "what's next?" (pats heart and points to you)
@slmret - Thanks Janet. The reflection caught my eye and the fence grabbed my mind.
thoughful ..... makes me think about what we thought we wanted and what we got and how what we want changes ... but then I am often introspective....
@Jaynebug -
in the puddle,too
@kafekotka - Introspection is a good thing.
@Babyboomerjill -
Hey Jill. How's your corner of the puddle doing?
I am living the life I never thought I would dream and life is good.
@grannyinboxers -Isn't that wonderful? Life is an amazing journey.
awesome picture!
life changes...for the good..and for the bad...the one thing we can count on is the change....
@Dreams_of_a_Cowgirl -
Thank you.
@portiajules - Indeed Charlotte. How are you? I'll send some coastal thoughts your way.
