Dancing in the Morning
The two dance together as if they are one
Bending, swaying, locked in joyful movement
Ah... to be a palm tree frond
I take a moment before jumping into the fast paced day
My moment to 'chill' or fill with projects straining to be fulfilled
An orchid opening as I sit at the desk... Sweet eye treat mystery
Yoga for the mind... I stretch, I shape up the day in good
I'm floating in water...warm...releasing all tension
I Let It Go
I'm expecting humor to guide and extend and pass over and beyond...
to share, to exchange, for growth of the spirit
The two stand still for a moment then continue the dance in the morning breeze
Ah...to be a palm tree frond

(pats heart, and points to you)

Very relaxing... needs sounds of waves and maybe a seagull squawking.... ;)
@DislocatedTexan@ireallylikefood - Waves rush in and out pounding away to the call of the seagull. :) Ah/Awe to the humor. :)
Oh yes, I needed this dance, right now, in this moment. Thank you.
I hope to be enjoying palm trees on Waikiki Beach for my 80th birthday. it is more inspiring than relaxing.
@HUMOR_ME_NOW - Something for everyone. Ah...Waikiki Beach! Palm trees! YES!
@WildWomanOfTheWest - Moment to moment simplifies it, makes it easier. Hugs to YOU, Right now!
You make me smile.
I find being still is sometimes more energizing than a nap. I enjoyed this view into your chill routine.
A moment of peace and being. Some think it is selfish to steal away for 10 minutes even when you never leave your spot... Palm fronds playing in a breeze is a wonderful thing to contemplate!
Oh, to be able to live in the now. I'm always so grateful for your posts..they speak peace with a smile.
Beautiful message and Ty for sharing it. Pats heart and points at you<:)
@ThoughtsByShirlann - How the hector are you! Smiles right back atcha.

I went to put a cool smiley, but this one looks so blissed out in the moment! "Chill routine." Ha. Love it. Make it a great day, Bear!
@murisopsis - Then selfish I be. These times we pick to leave the outside in order to renew with the inside are precious and personal. Writing the moment is relieving as you release and let go, physically, visually, and mentally. It's a good blend for me.
@songoftheheart -Peace with a smile, Happy days, living in the now. Sounds like I'm living a dream and it has nothing to do with "stuff".
@Grannys_Place - Good morning, Ruth. Take a moment for YOU, okay? HUGS!
How beautiful to dance like that and be the palm frond in the wind. I know what you mean Lyn. I have seen their dance many a time, and have written about their dance and their rhythm.
Sweet eye treat mystery
Yoga for the mind
I like that too!
@ZSA_MD - You know!
Just planted 4 in contains and I can see them from my desk at the window. There's a new frond in the middle and today it looks like the others are folding around it to protect it. Gorgeous!
@Iamsurrounded - Love a good visual and my mind needs many good stretches to stay sane in my crazy world of work, work, work. Have a visually flexible day!
having spent a lot of days reading about tree frogs with the 3 year old lately, I envisioned a palm leaf and a tree frog dancing until I reread! :) beautiful words and images!
@Jaynebug - One year, when I was in Hawaii, I was trying to sleep to the lullaby of the waves, and from my window I could see the dance of the palm fronds. I will NEVER forget the dance of the fronds...like a lover who comes to court his love, and is pushed away gently with coy and a beguiling thrust of show, but it kept returning time and again, and I watched these fronds mate and fondle themselves. That's what I thought when I saw the fronds dancing like that.
@ZSA_MD - Yes. You describe it beautifully. Raining here today, and nature takes a big drink! Cheers!
@jerjonji -
I've written about frogs too. http://jaynebug.xanga.com/667787654/frog-songs/ Have a great week!
